Paul B. Yu, M.D., Ph.D., is an Associate Professor of Medicine at Harvard Medical School, and Physician in the Division of Cardiovascular Medicine at Brigham and Women’s Hospital.
Dr. Yu completed his A.B. in Philosophy and a B.S. in Biological Sciences at Stanford University. He subsequently completed M.D. and Ph.D. (Immunology) degrees at Duke University, followed by Internal Medicine residency training at the University of California at San Francisco, and clinical fellowship in Cardiovascular Disease at Massachusetts General Hospital. After postdoctoral research in the laboratory of Dr. Kenneth Bloch, Dr. Yu joined the faculty in Cardiology and the Cardiovascular Research Center at Massachusetts General Hospital in 2006. In 2011 Dr. Yu joined the faculty in Cardiology at Brigham and Women’s Hospital. Dr. Yu is board certified in Internal Medicine and Cardiovascular Medicine, and a Fellow of the American Heart Association.
